DUŠKA is a multi-award winning international acoustic duo formed by jazz vocalist Ági Kazai (HU) and singer-songwriter Štefan Uhriňák (SK). The acronym ’DUŠKA’ stems from the names of the two musicians and means ’soul’ in Slavonic languages. DUŠKA’s music is defined by movement among diverse genres that seeks constant experimentation; the harmony of two voices accompanied by acoustic guitar creates a pleasant atmosphere. Their repertoire comprises of originals and musical interpretations of poetry. In January 2019, after reaching the finals of the Bratislava Jazz START UP Competition, they received the "Live Performance" award, resulting in an invitation to perform at several major festivals in Slovakia.
